The Jiberish Collection

It has been 6 months since I began my first Jiberish piece in early May. Finishing the four pieces, doing proofs, color swatching, screen ready composites and communication with the screen printers took alot of work. But the amazing part is my piece of the project was only a very small part of all the work that went into getting the lineup ready. The Jiberish management busted their asses struggling with uncooperative production managers, limited financial resources and a diverse community of artists to get everything worked out. I had the honor of working alongside Jason Fry from Denver design syndicatethe 400 as well as Denver contemporary art guru and genuine badass Jason Thielke. I have never worked with bosses that have seen so eye to eye with me on where art should be going and for the exception of one piece everything, I submitted went in to production in its original form without any complaints or changes. On the 21st, meetings about next years lineup begin and a very special addition to the team, Matt Yerman who has already offered a mock for one of next years pieces shown in the last image below, will be joining us. The vibrant and exciting future of this company is just beginning and plans for next year already prove to be leaps and bounds ahead of 2006.
