Funny how new jobs always tell you things that aren't true

I was so excited to start work! Orientation led me to believe the normal shift lasted about 6 hours, so I thought, "Okay, I can make that work." Only I didn't listen to the hidden meaning behind, "you won't work longer than a 6 hour shift," i.e. normally you'll get 2-3 hours. So! Time to find something early in the morning! I might even have to do something like a stocking shift...funny how each job I get is less responsibility, less money, less respect than the last job. As in my first job I supervised people, second I waitressed and served and hosted and all that stuff, third I did the same kind of stuff only in worse clothing and in random places, fourth I'm just a hostess, fifth'll probably be stocker. (Haha! stocker sounds like stalker...)

Holy shit I do everything backwardsly! Sorry, I'm epiphanizing right now... (And making up words):
Each relationship I've had has been progressively shorter and less serious - leading to now which is absolutely nill; each job has been progressively shorter and less serious; each place I've lived has been progressively worse (though not necessarily shorter, and not cheaper either). Weird...

Maybe this is how your 20's are supposed to start out as, and I started too high. Or maybe I've just made some not-too-foreward-thinking decisions in my life. Or maybe I'm just seeing the past through that wonderful veil of nostalgia which makes you want to go back to the time when everything was easier.

Oh well! It'll get better

I agree with you 100% I am getting more and more frustrated with everything!

lookslike the verge girls are going crazy!

it's sad that you're really smart and you have to work these jobs for whatever reasons

I wish I could pay you to cook.

maybe you should just look for another job? Maybe we should run away to mexico? Maybe I should get some sleep? Maybe I should water the bonsai plants that are bound to die at the office I work at

maybe I'll see you in 10 minutes!!
