I'm makin' a post!
Look at me go!
Kay so I got bored with writing an essay about Escoffier, so I started reading about Napoleon, then I got sidetracked to the Ottoman Empire (which makes me laugh 'cause it seemed the existed just to fall. Slowly. 300 years to peak, then another 400 to fall...like a really long slide...they did something right somewhere!) Never would have though I'd have to write a pop-essay in culinary school. Luckily our version of essays mean like, 2 pages max. Still, two full pages on croissants?! What. The fuck. Doesn't mean I dislike school at all though, it's still awesome.
Funny thought came into my head while I was reading about French people, Marie Antoinette said "If they cannot afford bread, let them eat cake!" which is pretty much exactly my case. I have so much cake...so little bread
Seriously...I have shittons of cake. Do you want some?
