Whee!!! I'm 21! My parents bought me my first legal drink!

So I turned 21 on Wednesday! Yey! I actually feel a lot different. I see the different types of alcohol and stuff at work and realize "holy shit I can buy that!" and it's cool. Not like I will anytime soon, since money is a no-have for me, but still...the possibility that I can make some kick-ass drinks and stuff for friends when they come over is awesome. Eventually I want a full/semi-full bar that people can order lots of different types of drinks from. I think that would be awesome! especially since people are a lot more prone to buying desserts when they're slightly drunk than when they're sober. That and I don't like cheap beer.

Sometimes I wish my palette wasn't so sophisticated. It would make my life a lot cheaper.

And the interesting happenings for the night include, but are not limited to: having a long, interesting drunken-ish conversation with my mom (and my dad, sometimes interjecting when he could), having my parents' car towed, and making my little brother so embarrassed that his voice cracked constantly. Yey!

Sometimes I really, really appreciate my family. As fucked up as they may have been in the past, I think they are doing a great job of fixing everything. It gives me hope for their future, my future, and that everyone can grow up learning from their past.

I love successful procreation!

And yes, that is very captain planet of me. The Power is Yours!
