Mathematically Impossible:

So somehow with a job at 32 hours a week (minimum) I have a lot less money than I did without a steady job. That makes no sense to me. But I guess that's what happens when you have a job where you get no tips. That hasn't happened in a really long time. I really, really look forward to paydays now!

Asking for a raise is a lot easier than one would think. Getting one, however, is an entirely different story...

5 more weeks of school...!!! I'm so excited to be done. Except for the whole lack of health insurance. Well, Kaiser doesn't know I don't live at home, maybe they won't know I'm out of school? Hooray for withholding information!

Last night was the full read-through for Sarah's 'True Perfection.' It was awesome! The cast is great and everyone definitely got into their roles. Being completely new to this whole film stuff, it's crazy watching things go from spoken ideas, to paper, to people. Man there's a lot of narration though...

I'm starting to actually write down all the foods I make for Matt and I. If I do it right I think I could sell a rather useful cookbook for people who want to feed their friends/roommates for under 20$ a week. Or just themselves for under 30$ a month.

And one last thing! I'm planning on doing something probably really stupid soon. But I'll have to do it or my brain will explode. Don't you just love that feeling of nervous-excitement that makes the pit of your stomach feel like it's not even there?! 'Cause I don't.

What is that stupid thing you are planning to do?

Feeding myself for less than $30 sounds more than perfect... When will that be possible? :D

Grampa Frank sez:

"Hey Katie, I may not be computer literate, but I'm gonna scribble you something: buy me a drink, send the money to Uncle Eric, cuz he's broke."

Think what you will of that, dear daughter, my father your grandfather, is rambling again....yikes. He's here visiting cuz his cousin died and we went to the service today. He's driving me crazy...help.
