black & Gold
We had true perfection auditions this weekend.
and i now have two thoughts
we are having another round of auditions and call backs
and i am re-writing the script. Again.
mostly this time focusing on Lucas, because he is sort of characterless right now. Maybe just because I find myself more angry at men then compassionate towards them. or maybe that's not it at all. Mayve I just havent found lucas's voice yet, but I think I may have just stumbled upon it.
Also, I seriously love the new girltalk album.
And I am seriously more and more stoked for the new harry potter every day!

Ol' Faithful
So I'm not feeling very good right now! But I'm trying to make the best possible effort to be cheery!
It's hard when your work schedule is 9-6PM and your boyfriends is 5:30PM to 2AM
so im sitting here at work being all meeeehhhh, my eye isn't working and I'm tired and my knees hurt and I want to have the funding I for On the Verge and True Perfection.
but then I watched something that always makes me laugh

Y control
So lately there's been this heat wave in los Angeles that's been like........WOW.
but that's really not what I wanted to talk about. I wanted to talk about how it's funny that weather is so commonly talked about. I know it's like the safe subject so it's the first thing everyone brings up when you see a person you don't know very well, like,
"Hey! How are you?"
"Great, yourself?"
"..Great! How about this weather, huh?"
"Yeah, so intense!"
"Yeah!"
......
5 awkward seconds later
"I wonder if it's this hot all over the country"
"You know I have no idea."
End conversation

Today when I was taking the bus to work, this blind woman sat down two seats away from me.
She looked sort of crazy. and missed her stop
"Did we pass pico"
"Yes we're at olympic"
"Shit Oh my Shit"
then she got off and started walking the wrong way. I hope she's alright. 
I don't mind taking the bus, but I also will be stoked when I buy my moped.
MOPED!!!

Eyeball
I have a cornea ulcer on both of my eyes.
BLAHHHHHH
How does this happen?
well first I slept in my contacts monday night. I was exhausted from my first day of work at Believe Media (www.believemedia.com) and not to mention the 14 hour days I worked the week before for NBA entertainment.
Basically i can't look in the light. And I thought it would go away. This morning though I couldn't even keep my eyes open on the bus ride to work. And I started thinking about a life without eye sight. That's a scary though, especially for me, a director.
We take our senses for granted, but there are tons of people who can't see. I would loose my entire lifes worth if I became blind. I mean I'm sure I could write or something or figure out some awesome directing technique for the blind. But....good thing I went to the doctor.
Weird thing. So I came back and people were asking me at my work what was up, how I was etc. There was a man waiting in reception, and he said his wife went blind for 3 months because of wind and stress. And I started thinking about the stress and work overload I've been going through and how my eyes had indeed been acting funny.
so the moral of the story is. Work hard. and keep a list of doctors who are under your insurance close by. You never know when you might need an optimologist at Hollywood Blvd & Highland Ave

NBA Entertainment
Last week was very cool!
I was a PA for NBA entertainment for 7 days!
Basically that entailed following around camera crews, taking tape logs, driving, helping out. Being the token "girl" for the whole operation which seems to happen more often then not in my situation.
The coolest part though was running around on the court while the celebs were all chillin!
I saw Mark Whalberg, Steven Spielberg, Nicole Ritchie, Spike Lee, Justin Timeberlake to name just a few!
