Sleeping In

So here we are! At the cusp of a new decade!

I'm pretty excited for 2010. Last year I remember being slightly annoyed that the year was ending, but now I am ready to get done with 2009.

One thing I am very excited about (among many) is About Abby, my new web series. I think when all is said and done it's going to be a very tight piece of work that will be quite funny.

I have two more episodes to write before we can begin pre-pro. I'm aiming to have those done by the end of the week so I can spend January getting ready for the shoot. It will be quick & Painless.

And of course, kickstarter was completely funded!! amazingness!! a few peoples cards got errored which is kind of annoying, but oh well, we almost have the full 3000! hahaha. Now we just have to have another fund-raising event and find some sort of other private investor. I dunno.

Also planning on buying the glass DVDs to get Happy Holidays on netflix next month FINALLY. Sheesh!! If only they didn't cost $500 to make.

Personal life is going great too :) But that's all you're gonna get outta me.

When I see that girl of Mine

I like to eat crunchy food. It's really satisfying sometimes...

Hit minor writers block with "About Abby And..." I'm not worried though, it will break through eventually. Maybe this evening, maybe tomorrow. Although I am really pissed that my keyboard isn't working correctly on my mac, because I dont think I want to take the big nice keyboard I've been hooking up to my mac book on the plane. I can imagine the person sitting next to me being mildly bothered by that.

Trying to get all my affairs in order before my brief excursion in arlington VA. There's still so much fund raising to be done after kickstarter...but we are so close!!!! wooo!!

It's overcast in LA again, mildly disappointing, I was hoping it would stay 75 and sunny up until when I left. Oh well, the weather still has two days to seize the challenge.

Everyday my excitement about my road trip & move increases just a bit more. Yes. yes. although only problem is figuring out the transportation of my cat....oh well, we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

Sail Away Baby

So true to form here I am at my blog again since I scheduled in my daily planner to write here. Lame...not lame? I don't really care, just how I work. My planner is kind of like my bible, I live by whatever's in it.

My current playlist consists of lots of R's.

Finally finished measuring out True perfection, it's 100 scenes total. Nice even number there. Now how long do we think it'll take to shoot 100 scenes? Or should I say, how compact and cheaply can we make 114 pages take place? Can we do it in 20 days of set? Hey if a democratic african american can get elected in this backwords country then I can shoot a 100 scenes/114 pages film for 10K in 20 days.

Yup.

Our kickstarter is almost complete!! 93% yayayayayayayaayayayayay!!!!!!!!!!!!

So excited to make this film!!

also my little web series I will be doing at the end of Jan, way pumped.

This weekend is going to be awesome!!! SO much stuff going on! yes!!!

Raining in my Heart

Alright, so I again, rediscovered my blog. I feel like I should make a mental note and write on my planner to blog once a week to at least save this for posterity. Hold on..am going to...

--

Okay I've told myself to blog multiple times in the month of December. We'll see how that goes. Oh the new years resolutions I will put on here and maybe adhere to for the year.

There are 13 days left in the kickstarter!!!!

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1128717874/we-make-a-movie-and-you-get-immortalized-in-the

We have 88% funded!! woo! Only 12% left! How exciting! sorry just took another break there to promote kickstarter, I figured while I was on the subject I should do something about it.

I've started breakingdown the True Perfection script. It's very long and very tedious but must be done so we can get this bad boy going. We'll be budgeting in the next two weeks so we know how much more we're going to have to magically raise. I know we will get it though. We're going to be having a party at the end of January that will take some crazy planning. Maybe it might even happen mid February. I feel like that's more plausible. It's been decided thanks to this blog post that it will be mid-February.

On a personal note, I have a cold. I got one last week when I had to work 3 18 hour days in a row and moped in the rain. Oh well, it could be worse! I could have ebola.
